We built our formula around just four carefully sourced ingredients, then became particular about the details that are often overlooked—where they come from, how they’re processed, and what each one contributes. Every ingredient has a purpose. Nothing is added simply to bulk out the tube, alter the texture artificially, or disguise the formula with synthetic fragrance or flavor.
Pure Raw Cappings Beeswax — USA
Not just beeswax. We specifically source the fresh golden wax cappings removed from honeycomb during harvest from a family-run American apiary. Cappings wax is newly produced by the bees to seal their honey and is prized for its clean, fresh character. We keep ours naturally golden and unbleached rather than processing it into a conventional white cosmetic wax. In the balm, it creates the substantial, stay-put texture that helps seal in moisture and protect dry lips without relying on petrolatum or mineral oil.
Organic Virgin Cold-Pressed Coconut Oil — Vietnam
Virgin, unrefined and never bleached or deodorized. We choose cold-pressed coconut oil rather than a highly refined carrier oil so it remains as close as possible to its original state, with its naturally occurring fatty-acid profile—including a high proportion of lauric acid—intact. It gives the balm its smooth glide while providing rich emollient conditioning for dry, rough lips.
Cold-Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil — Spain
We use genuine extra virgin olive oil rather than a heavily refined commodity oil. Cold pressing preserves the character of the oil along with naturally occurring compounds including oleic acid, squalene and antioxidant polyphenols. Its rich emollient profile brings softness, depth and lasting conditioning to the formula, balancing the firmness of the beeswax and coconut oil.
Organic Rosemary CO₂ Total Extract — Spain / Germany
This isn’t a conventional rosemary essential oil. Organic rosemary grown in Spain is extracted in Germany using supercritical CO₂, producing a concentrated total extract that retains a broader range of oil-soluble botanical compounds—including the antioxidants carnosic acid and carnosol. We use it both for its botanical antioxidant contribution and because it helps protect the formula’s oils from oxidation, supporting freshness and stability without relying on a conventional synthetic antioxidant system.

How to Use +
A little goes a long way. Our waterless formula is made entirely from concentrated oils, beeswax and botanical extract, so you only need a light layer for comfortable, lasting conditioning.
The Daily Ritual
Glide directly over lips whenever they feel dry, tight or in need of extra protection. Start with one or two passes and add more only if needed—the rich oil-and-beeswax texture is designed to leave a substantial, comfortable layer on the lips.
The Overnight Layer
Apply a slightly more generous layer before bed for intensive overnight conditioning. By morning, lips feel softer, smoother and more comfortable—especially when they’ve been feeling particularly dry or rough.
The Lipstick Prep
Apply a thin layer before lipstick and allow it to settle for a few minutes. It softens and smooths dry texture, creating a comfortable satin base without the slick feel of a heavily glossed balm.
Beyond the Lips
The same simple formula can be used anywhere a little extra conditioning is needed. Glide a small amount over dry cuticles, knuckles, or other rough patches of skin, then gently massage in if needed.
A Note on Natural Ingredients
Because we use virgin coconut oil and raw beeswax without synthetic texture stabilizers, the balm naturally responds to temperature. It may feel firmer in cooler conditions and softer when warm. If it feels particularly firm, hold the tube against your skin for a few moments before applying.

For someone who prioritises health and well-being, it is so refreshing to finally find a lip balm that is 100% pure and natural! This stuff is pure gold! I would give this product 10 stars if I could! Just recently came across The Good Brand lip balm after doing a thorough search on the Internet for the cleanest chapstick/lip balm, and let me tell you how happy I’m that there’s finally a lip balm with truly Clean ingredients and ZERO Hexanes or Ultra Processed chemicals, added Vitamin E’s and etc in it! This brand doesn’t mess around and I hope they stay this way. It only takes only one smooth glide and stays on for a Lot longer than the “wanna be” clean chapsticks!Very happy! Highly recommend!!

I’m a chapstick addict. I use it all the time. And have them with me at all times everywhere I go. I’ve used so many brands over the years and I gotta say this one is definitely my favorite. It’s definitely the highest quality chapstick brand I’ve used by far. I am into health and wellness so appreciate the quality ingredients and respect that they source from and support small scale US bee farms. Also for guys the last thing we want is to look like we have something on our lips or at least that’s me so this one is basically invisible and it does last a long time. The tube is a cool design as well so great for us guys.

I’m a health nut and I have found it so hard to find a really truly clean, high quality lip balm that doesn’t have highly processed or low quality ingredients like sunflower oil, “organic” beeswax (which is a scam for cheap imports from places like China), and vitamin E tocopherol added which is highly processed and chemically processed. unfortunately a lot of “clean” brands use these ingredients as they sound clean but are actually not for those who really understand the processing that is involved in those ingredients. and so it really deceives customers by greenwashing. So I was so so happy to find out about The Good Brand and end my search. Not only are all the ingredients used in the formula up to my high standards and super clean, they go a step further and tell you where each ingredient was sourced from and how it was processed. And the method of creating the final product. Super transparent which is really important to me so I know exactly what I’m putting on my lips. And such high quality. I could literally go on and write an essay for this review about how good this lip balm is but they have pretty much summed up everything on their website as to why it’s so good. the lip balm has a really smooth feel to it and lasts so long. not shiny/glossy at all and makes my lips feel plump and moisturized! I recommend this to everyone I know!
